Hiding Spot
I plopped myself down in the bushes I was playing hide & seek at my preschool. I was peeking through the hole in the playground climbing wall. There was a loud drill ringing in my ear, kids were yelling and laughing and parents were talking. I could see my friend looking around for me and my other friend hiding in the other bush. I felt safe and I had a grin across my cheeks. I could feel the leaves brushing softly against my skin and the pieces of wood were squashing tightly on my arm. In the corner of my eye I could see the teacher and the kids I could see the classroom. I was slowly backing up then I felt the fence behind me, then the teacher saw me and said "Get out of that bush you're breaking it". So moved and hid under the playground. Now I felt less safe because I was more exposed than my original spot, a shiver ran down my spine. I felt the soft rubbery ground under my feet, I was squashing my back up against the wooden climbing wall behind me. I blended in with the darkness under the shadow of the slide. The bell rang, "yay" I shouted out. The teacher rang the bell, yelling "PLAY TIMES OVER."
